J.A. Michie, is a Canadian businessman and global investor with more than four decades of experience in private equity, asset management, and early-stage venture development. Born in 1963, he built his career through international travel and residencies in the USA, Switzerland, the UK, the UAE, Canada, and Latin America. In the early 2000s, he partnered with Hottinger — one of Switzerland's oldest private banks — to launch Alpine Atlantic, an asset management firm in Zurich that later expanded into U.S. and global operations. With more than forty years in private equity and capital formation, he has helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars for early-stage companies and larger sums in senior equities. Today, he remains active across multiple sectors, advising companies in digital assets, fintech, global settlements, gaming software, and longevity.

Galen has 25 plus years of experience across Derivatives Trading and Multi-Asset class Portfolio Management, in Investment Banking and Asset Managers/Family Offices. Since 2011 he has been managing Ultra High Net Worth Family Office Portfolios, and was previously a senior trader at multiple investment banks including Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital, and ABN AMRO.

Prof. Dr. Jörg Schröder is professor for Corporate Finance in the Strategy, Finance & Innovation department of the International School of Management (ISM) in Dortmund. Alongside this role, he is partner of SSC Consult Corporate Finance in Cologne where he advises small and medium-sized companies on Corporate Finance. Prof. Schröder worked in Investment Banking in national and international banks for more than 20 years. He studied economics at the University of Münster where he also successfully completed his doctorate. His fields of research are Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Venture Capital, Disruptive digital technologies in finance and Sustainable Finance.
